Welkom/welcome

Thanks for stopping by. I write mainly about my quilts and other quilty stuff.

Easy Street, step 2

step2 80 rect2

We’re making 128  purple with white/black flying geese. So far I have made 80, only 48 to go. I have already cut all 64 rectangles for a future step.
I remembered having put away purple bricks, a lot of them, leftovers from Carolina Christmas (a Bonnie Hunter mystery of 2009) , so I have more variety than I thought.

I think I need a new ironing board cover. Winking smile

Go on over to Quiltville and see what everyone is up to.

  1. Goede Middag, Erika!

I am so happy to see so many Dutch ladies working on BH's mystery! I used to live in Wassenaar and had trouble purchasing good quality cotton fabrics, though just before I left, a nice fabric shop opened in Den Haag. Usually, I could got to the marktdag in Leiden for fabrics, but I worried about the quality. I was wondering where you shop for your cotton fabrics...I think I see a batik that I have in my Easy Street, too!

  3. Good start to Bonnie's mystery! I like your purples. I have no purples in my stash, so I had to go with other colors. It's so nice that people all over the world are doing this quilt together.
